Happy Easter
to our five little bunnies!
The girls woke (very early!) to fun surprises at the dining room table. As you can see in these first pictures, the sun was barely up, but the girls definitely were.
The girls ravaged their baskets and explored each other's loot in the pre-dawn hours, all while Mary slept. Her basket remained intact during a lot of this craziness.
However, all bets were off when she woke up.
When the Easter baskets were fully inspected, five little girls all got baths and pretty clothes on. A huge perk of having five girls is the ability to really get some wear out of their clothes! The only new item I bought for our Easter outfits this year was a new pair of shoes for Megan. Everything else is a gently loved hand-me-down, or a gift (like Megan's pretty pink dress). I loved coordinating all of that pink and green and getting these girls all dolled up!
We headed east with the girls to attend mass with the Cecchins, and we made it in time to sit down in a pew this year! Whew! Afterwards, the kids had a big Easter egg hunt on the Cecchin lawn. I managed to snap a picture where Megan and Bridget actually appear to happy at the same time. My camera must have been playing tricks on me!
Cute cousins!
The Easter egg hunt was a success, and we had some happy girls with full baskets. Mary's convinced that she needs to tilt her head to the side any time the camera comes out. This is her signature look at 20 months :)
On this Easter morning, the girls' baskets were full, and so were ours. We realize how incredibly blessed we are to have these five healthy, happy, beautiful girls to celebrate with!
