Dear Santa,
I've been very good this year. I promise. Look, I even took pictures of my latest good deed. I had not one, not two, but three extra children to our house last week for a playdate...midweek...after school. Now, Santa, I know you don't have kids, but...wait, do you?... I'm not sure... anyway, I just want to make sure you realize the hours in the day we're talking about here. Crankyville. Melt Down City. Usually. So, I get bonus points for the time of day this took place. I even organized an activity for them. They made graham cracker houses and went crazy eating candy (read: sugar high x 7, 8 if you count the Sour Patch Kids that Mary ate) and decorating their tiny houses in our dining room. And then...I cleaned that up. More bonus points for all of the icing that dripped onto the floor. I heard multiple "best thing ever" comments from the girls' little friends, so I'm pretty sure I'm on their Nice Mom list. And, since we're talking about lists, I'm not sure what all you need to do to get on your "nice" list, but I hope these pictures bring you some clarity re: my placement.
Now, I know my new phone is technically my Christmas present, so I'm not really asking for another present. I'm just asking for some intangibles this year. Like happy girls. No drama. No more sickness for a little while for both little and big people in this house. Some motivation to finish Christmas shopping. Twins who will go to sleep without a warden in their room at night. Big girls without attitudes. A baby who...never mind, she's pretty perfect already. But, did I mention happy girls?
That about covers it.
Love,
Shawna
